What country I want to visit?

I want to visit Samoa, because I want to try new fruits and I want learn how to speak Samoa, and visit my cousins from my Mum's side. In Samoa I want to visit Palolo Deep National Marine Reserve, because I want to swim there.  There is so much places in Samoa I want to go to like Lalomanu Beach, Mount Vaea and more places. I really wanna visit Samoa because it is a country where my mum comes from.

Cookies

Last week room 8 decorated cookies.The ingredient's

were, sugar flour, some cookies,sprinkles,chocolate frosting and chocolate. Everyone had to put the chocolate frosting on there cookie. Next we used some sugar flour, then we put the chocolate on the cookie.Finally we put the sprinkles on our cookies, but Mr Sok said before everyone eats there cookie we have to take a photo.

Tongan language

Malo e lelei',today our school had a big feast, celeabrating tongan language week. We had different variety of food. It was so delicious. There was Mango otai,Pork, Potato salad and more food.  There was also beautiful performance's. I enjoyed being apart of the celeabration. Malo.

Today room 8 went out on the court to see the pork on spit.

Today I read a book called, The first day of school vs the last day of school.

The story was about a girl named Anantya. She does a role play, her role play is about the first day of school vs the last day of school. I give this book a 3/5 because it had positive messages. The message was the first day of school and the horrible message was the last day of school.

How Maui and his brothers attacked the sun to get more day time.

 Today I read a book called, A pet to the vet. It was about everyone's pet getting sick and in the end everyone gets heal. My favourite part in this story was when all the pets got better. I rate this a 5/5 because the story was very intelligent.

 Today I read a book called, Hey thats my monster. It was abot a little boy, and  he had a monster, he's name is, Gabe. Gabe make's the little boy go to sleep, the little boy has a little sister named, Emma. One afternoon the little boy was about to go to sleep. My favourites part in the story was when Gabe's little sister came along with his lunch. I rate this story a 5/5 becuase it was aesthetic.

 Today I read a book called, The big race. The story is about this girl and there's challenges.

My favourite part in the story was when the girl win's this big, gigantic, ginormous trophy.  I rate this story a 4/5 because the girl put all her effort in this race.

 Today I read a book called, Come on.  It was about everyone saying come on to a little girl. My favourites Part was when the dad told the little girl to wake up, I rate this story 4/5 because the story was interesting and very enthusiastic.

Rain poem

The rain is out in the cold will I am inside feeling warm in my home. When I'm inside my home I smell the sweet fragrance of delicious food. As I touch the door knob my sister jumps out and say boo, in a lound voice. As I walk I see my mum cooking and my dad cleaning. I felt very very gratitude. As I slept I got colder and colder, the wind started howling. I was frightened but then my mum came and everyone evacuated the house, it was like there was a thunder storm. I was horrified but everyone went back in the house. I went straight to sleep.

 Today I subtract numbers up to five digits. It was cool, my high score is 100.

Reading

Today I read a book called, My Family. The site I used is called Sunshine Classics.

The story is about a little girl welcoming her family. There are 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 pets.

They use pictures to tell who the member is in the family, it's like a family album.

Sandwhich Toasties

 On wednesday august the 12 my sister and I made Toasties, the ingredients are Cheese,ham,tomatoes and bread, my sister Anittah cut up the tomatoes well I was putting the bread and cheeese and ham on the toastie. After we putted the tomatoes on, we then sprinkle some peper and salt to give it texture, next we closed the lead of the toastie, my sister and I setted the tabale and poured some milk to go with our toasties. Now our toasties are done.

Tread Lightly Caravan

On Wednesday, everyone in room 8 had to attend an activety. It was like workshops of learning. My favourite workshop was the recycle one because my mum was there. In this photo everyone had to get behind a piece of wood that has promise words, my one said, "Use my own reusable water bottle. 

The rusty dusty hideous pencil.

The rusty dusty hideous pencil.
The pencil was cheap looking and a disgrace,
It's saving grace was that it was sharp, very sharp. Sharp enough
to dig into your skin. Pretend drumsticks have made it a musical
instrument creating a creative sound. Disgusting teeth marks
at the bottom of the pencil and disgusting rusty dusty
rotten skin toching my fingers as I hold the rotten rusty dusty pencil.
The bright red pencil is now rusty dusty and old. 
My trusty old instrument still works and it still does the trick!

Matarika

On Monday the middle block went to taroa. Everyone in the middle block had to walk, when I started walking my legs were so, so, so, and so tired. When we got there we had to sit in our classes. Then this man was talking, there were silent's. After that we went inside this big room. There were 5 ladies and they  introduced themselves. Then we got into our year groups, I was in the year 5 group.  First we made waves on papers,  after that we did a little dance and then our teacher gave us rocks. Then we painted our rocks, after all of that everyone's group came to the big mat and started to talk about what they did in their groups, first it was the year 4's, then the year 5's and last of all the year 6's. Then everyone went outside to drink their milk and eat their fruit, then we walked back.

Making brownies and cockies on saturday

On saturday at 9:00 pm, some of my sister and I made brownies and cockies. So first we melted the butter, we left the butter in the microwave for 1 minutes. While waiting we put the brownie mixture in a big bowl, then we cracked two eggs into the bowl, then we mixed. After the butter was ready to be put in the bowl, we poured the whole buter in. Next we mixed, it took a long time to mix, after that we to puted the butter on the tray so then the brownie doesen't stick, next we put the un cooked brownies on the tray, then we putted the tray in the oven and started making the cockies, we kind of did the same thing with the brownies but the different thing that we did with the cockies were, we puted 4 eggs in the cockies. After that we puted it in the oven. Now they are ready.
