Task Description:

For this task I have used a google slide to answer a stereotype question. The question was "imagine if you were a female teacher in another country and you got told at your job that you will never be successful at your job as you are Indian or black or any culture that gets stereotyped how would you feel and how would you react?" How would you feel if you got told that?

 

Jumbo Facts-Maths Task

Task Description:

For this task I have calculated what animal and how much animals weigh the same as a bush elephant. The animal I have picked is a rhinoceros, I have calculated how much a rhinoceros ways and how much I need to add to make a bush elephant.  I picked a rhinoceros because, rhinoceros's are starting to exist so I wanted to make the most of it by adding it to my work.

Task Description:

For this task I have went on a online worksheet, the worksheet was about expanding numbers. I got a nine out of ten for expanding my numbers. Can you expand this number? 4546?

Fact or Opinion?

Task Description: 

For this task I have used google slides to write and read about facts and opinions. On the following slide I have highlighted sentences that either connects to the word facts or opinions. If I have highlighted a sentence that is green then that means it is an opinion and if I have highlighted a sentence and it is blue then that means that it is a fact. Hope you enjoy!

Animation on Olympics

Task Description:

Olympics have finished last week. So this week we have decided to celebrate the Olympics by making animations, quiz's and more other activities. Syntyche and I have made an animation based on never to judge a book by its cover (meaning to never underestimate others). Extending my Pepeha

 

Task Description:

For this task I have extended my pepeha by adding a few lines. It wasn't easy because I was translating my pepeha in Te Reo Maori. What language are you using for your pepeha?

Task Description:

In this task I worked with Syntyche and Uheina. We read a book called "Training for Success", we also wrote stem questions. After we wrote stem questions we commented, on the comments we answered the stem questions. I hope you guys can read a book and make stem questions!

Task Description:

This task is about describing an a Olympic word using a dictionary meaning in our own words. Also in the word study we have to use different words that describe the word that your describing. Last of all we have to use that word in a sentence.
